Imorial is a website, created by Gee Multimedia, that allows users to create free online memorials for their loved ones who have passed on. With a growing and diverse user base, Imorial is one of the largest online memorial sites on the net.

The Challenge

Imorial was created for two primary purposes. First, to create a SaaS (software as a service) that would allow for the creation of online memorials and secondly, as an experiment in social networking. Created solely by Gee Multimedia, the site needed to be easy to use, attractive, engaging and free.

The Results

Imorial has become one of the largest online memorial sites on the net. It's growing user database represents people of all faiths, age groups, geographic locations and socio-economic levels. A large portion of iMorial was recently sold to a private equity firm, who have reinvested in new designers, developers ad staff and have continued to expand this SaaS to local and national funeral service providers as a free accompaniment to their funeral packages.
